Alex brings extensive experience in the energy sector, with a strong track record in developing Australia’s Integrated System Plan (ISP) at AEMO and advancing multiple grid-supporting battery energy storage systems (BESS) across the National Electricity Market (NEM). He has previously held senior roles at AEMO, Aurecon, CSIRO, and McKinsey & Company. He is also currently a Board Member at EnergyCo.
At AMPYR, Alex provides strategic leadership across the development, ownership, and operation of renewable energy assets. He oversees the execution and growth of AMPYR’s portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader energy transition objectives.
Alex holds a Master of Science in Physics from the Technical University of Munich and a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge.

Vanessa has deep experience as a corporate finance and capital markets executive, with a background spanning law, banking and institutional investment across Australia and Asia.
At AMPYR, Vanessa leads financial strategy and capital planning to support both platform and project growth. She oversees transaction execution, treasury and financial risk management, including the build-out of the financial operating platform as assets transition from development through construction and into operations.
Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sydney, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.

Michael has over 25 years’ experience leading large cross-functional teams across the energy, carbon and environmental sectors. He has a strong track record of innovation in the energy sector and specialist expertise in distributed energy and storage. He has previously held senior leadership roles at Shell Energy, Out Performers, and SMEC and has delivered projects in over 20 countries.
At AMPYR, Michael serves as Chief Operating Officer, providing leadership across engineering, construction, asset management and HSE. He also provides executive oversight of AMPYR’s distributed BESS portfolio.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Environmental Management from Macquarie University, and a Certificate in Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia.

Jialin is a highly experienced energy markets and finance expert, having held senior roles including General Manager Integrated Customer Solutions at Shell, Head of Business Development at Limejump, and Commercial Operations Manager at BG Group.
At AMPYR, Jialin leads offtake and partnership discussions to develop customer-focused energy solutions. She is responsible for market analysis and the development of offtake products, optimising project economics and managing merchant risk exposure.
Jialin holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Liam is a senior executive with over 20 years’ experience across energy, infrastructure, and renewables, including leadership roles in utility-scale solar, capital markets, and complex project development. He has previously held roles including CEO of Energy Funds at E&P Financial Group, Senior Manager Solar & Asia Renewables at Origin Energy, General Manager Commercial at Aurizon, and Project Manager at Orica.
At AMPYR, Liam leads capital execution, including equity raising, M&A, and structured finance to support development and portfolio growth. He also drives strategic development initiatives, focusing on investment governance, commercial optimisation, and aligning project-level decisions with broader platform value creation.
Liam holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Agribusiness from Curtin University.

Adrian is an experienced executive and development specialist, with over 20 years’ experience in the energy industry. He has a strong track record in driving cost efficiencies and driving to financial close in a range of technologies, including solar, wind and in battery energy storage system (BESS) procurement. He was previously with ZEN Energy, where he was responsible for the Templers BESS. He has worked both in Australia and internationally. His earlier roles include senior positions at ACWA Power, Alcazar Energy, Babcock & Brown, and Shell.
At AMPYR, Adrian leads procurement strategy and origination, focusing on delivering cost-efficient outcomes in development, BESS contracting and site selection. He is responsible for negotiating agreements to secure competitive and commercially robust project outcomes.

Anthony is an experienced renewables professional with a strong track record in leading the development and delivery of utility scale, grid connected renewable energy projects throughout the NEM and WEM. He has previously held roles including EGM Development at Tilt Renewables, EGM Business Development at RATCH Australia, and Development Manager (Renewable Energy) at Transfield Services.
Anthony leads AMPYR’s delivery team setting the overall the overall delivery strategy and overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of projects to ensure they meet technical, financial, and regulatory requirements. Anthony has directly led nearly 1GW of projects from development and delivery successfully through commissioning and into operations.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.

Fergus is a senior corporate development executive with over 15 years’ experience in delivering critical growth transactions, major projects, and strategic partnerships with government and industry. He was previously a Corporate Development Manager at GenesisCare and an M&A lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills. At AMPYR, Fergus leads mergers and acquisitions, development partnerships and responses to government capacity tenders. He is focused on creating mutual value with AMPYR’s partners built on enduring, genuine relationships. Fergus holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney.

Will is an experienced public servant and corporate lawyer with over 15 years in senior government roles, including leading national initiatives on Indigenous Constitutional Recognition, human rights, and international law. He has previously served as First Assistant Secretary at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and as Assistant Secretary at the Attorney-General’s Department.
At AMPYR, Will leads engagement with communities and First Nations groups to ensure projects deliver lasting benefits for local. He helps secure social licence and project approvals and advises on governance, regulatory frameworks, and Indigenous recognition requirements to support responsible and inclusive project development.
Will holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland.
