AMPYR’s experienced leadership team brings deep expertise across the energy sector, focused on delivering sustainable power generation, grid-scale battery storage and Distributed energy solutions across Australia.
Alex brings extensive experience in the energy sector, with a strong track record in developing Australia’s Integrated System Plan (ISP) at AEMO and advancing multiple grid-supporting battery energy storage systems (BESS) across the National Electricity Market (NEM). He has previously held senior roles at AEMO, Aurecon, CSIRO, and McKinsey & Company. He is also currently a Board Member at EnergyCo.
At AMPYR, Alex provides strategic leadership across the development, ownership, and operation of renewable energy assets. He oversees the execution and growth of AMPYR’s portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader energy transition objectives.
Alex holds a Master of Science in Physics from the Technical University of Munich and a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge.
